Client’s Challenge
The client needed Drupal experts who could work within their department’s budget and maintain and add features to multiple sites that they managed. The forum website had pending Drupal updates, and other issues such as spam sign ups. With no support for a while, the client had multiple feature requests that were pending.
How We Solved Client’s Problems
The site was receiving several spam sign-ups, which were fixed by adding Google recaptcha to the sign up forms. Additional validations were added to filter data entered by bots. The search results were improved too. The development hours per month were limited, so every feature had to be carefully planned with time and deadlines in mind.
Impact On Client’s Business
Spam registrations have been totally eliminated, thus making it easier for the admin to manage users on the site. The client does not have to worry much about the site, and can thus concentrate more on teaching and enabling discussions on the forum.
